A gunman killed two people, injured a third, and was slain by an officer Saturday night at a casino complex in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin.
The Brown County Sheriff's Office said current indications show the suspect had ties to the Oneida Casino as an employee.
Police then shot and killed the gunman, who investigators believe had a "personal relationship" with an employee at the Duck Creek restaurant inside the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center attached to the casino, Pawlak said.
Melinda J Danforth, director of intergovernmental affairs for the Oneida Nation which operates the casino, said as many as seven or eight people may have been hit during the shooting.
"I know for sure two, because it happened right next to us, literally right next to us", Yatim said.
National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) Chairman Ernie Stevens, Jr. lives five minutes from the resort and was on his way to dinner with his wife at the restaurant where the shooting began.
Webster said that authorities were clearing people out of the casino and surrounding properties.
At 9:51 p.m. local time, the Wisconsin Justice Department said the situation was contained and there was no longer a threat to the community.

"Pretty thankful we could get out of there, and all of us are safe", Luehring said.
Multiple emergency and law enforcement agencies are at the scene, including the Appleton Police Department, the Kaukauna Fire Department, and Wisconsin State Patrol.

The Oneida Nation saying that the main casino is being secured by law enforcement following the shooting. It was honestly insane'.
The Radisson Hotel and Conference Center and Oneida Casino are owned and operated by the Oneida Nation.
Governor Tony Evers said he was "devastated" to hear about the shooting, but gave no details. It will be updated as more information becomes available.
The Oneida tribe's reservation lies on the west side of the Green Bay area.
