Three killed, two wounded in shooting at Wisconsin tavern

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect after a shooting at a bar left three people dead and two others injured early Sunday morning.

"The suspect is described as a black male over six feet tall wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt", Sgt. David Wright said in the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department's media release.

The incident happened at about 12:42 a.m. CT, according to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department.

Officials were still working to determine the identities of the people who were killed.

Beth said two people died at the scene.

No one has yet been arrested and the suspect is still at large, but police believe it was a targeted attack and that the public are not in any danger.

"My heart breaks for Kenosha this morning in the wake of a shooting that took three lives and injured at least two others", Evers said.

Somers is about 30 miles (50 kilometers) south of Milwaukee, not far from the Wisconsin-Illinois border.

Wright said investigators have reviewing surveillance video from the scene.

"I know that there was a confrontation obviously inside the building and I believe just outside the building there was another confrontation with gunfire". It read, "There is an active criminal investigation in the area of Sheridan Road and 15th Place".

Officials were investigating another mass shooting in Indianapolis, where eight people were killed at a FedEx warehouse Thursday. He has pleaded not guilty and says he fired in self-defense.
