Ontario family doctors' group calls for more involvement in COVID-19 vaccinations

The Montana VA Health Care System (MTVAHCS) has opened a dedicated phone line for enrolled veterans to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination.

The French health ministry said on Sunday 6,191,666 people had received a first COVID-19 vaccine shot since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in the country.

The CDC said 24.5 percent of the populace has now received at least one dose, while 13.3 percent are fully vaccinated.

People eligible for vaccination under the Texas Department of State Health Services criteria can visit HoustonEmergency.org/covid19 or the following direct links to self-register.

The new rules also apply to vaccinated people gathering with people from a single household who have not been vaccinated but who are considered at low risk of severe disease from the coronavirus - such as vaccinated grandparents visiting with healthy grandchildren.

In addition, Public Procurement Minister Anita Anand said on Friday that Canada was finalizing an agreement with its neighbour to the south that would see Ottawa receive 1.5 million doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca shot before the end of the month. "We're still having about 50-60 cases per day in the state but our hospitalization numbers are down more than the rate of infection in the state".

Of the total, 1,805 are confirmed and 442 are probables.

Unfortunately, there were another 16 COVID-related deaths reported over the weekend, with 15 being considered new deaths and one of them being a historical death that was reclassified.

According to the department, there were no COVI-positive patients at Warren General Hospital. Phase 3 also includes grocery store workers who were not eligible for vaccination based on previous age or risk-based categories.
