Several people killed in Louisiana shooting

"A customer who was inside the building at the time of the shooting, and two people who arrived later and identified themselves as relatives of the victims, said the shooting started when two adult brothers arrived at the business".

Cops provided no more details on the shooting, according to WGNO.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joe Lopinto said deputies were dispatched shortly before 3:00 Saturday afternoon to a report of a shooting at the outlet on Airline Drive. The man reportedly got into an argument with a clerk at the store for entering the premises with a loaded gun that was unholstered.

"Near these shields there is a handgun with an extended magazine on the ground", Ramon Antonio Vargas tweeted.

Police sources told the outlet that people on the range engaged the shooter to try and keep others safe.

Biden Talks School Reopening, Vaccine Availability
We still have somewhere between 1,500 and 3,500 deaths per day", said Walensky on CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday. So we have significant number of vaccinators, people who'd actually be there. "No, that's not true", he said.

Authorities remained at the scene as night fell.

Three people were killed and two others were injured in a shooting at a gun store in Metairie in Louisiana, United States on Sunday (February 21) as per Indian time. Deputies located several victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police said the two individuals who were transported to area hospitals are in stable condition.

Armed bystanders helped subdue the gunman at the scene just west of New Orleans, Fox News reported. Multiple people then opened fire on the suspect either in the store or the parking lot, killing the suspect, Lopinto said.

"We are trying to put it all together and piece it together from what we have in this developing scene", Lopinto said Saturday at a press briefing outside the store.
