Titans’ Derrick Henry becomes eighth player to rush for 2,000 yards


Henry finished the regular season with a franchise-record 2,027 yards rushing to become the eighth player in National Football League history to run for 2,000 yards. They had to rally after blowing a 16-point lead and needed Ryan Tannehill to hit A.J. Brown with a 52-yard pass to set up rookie Sam Sloman for the winning field goal, which bounced off the right upright and through as time expired.

Henry provided more proof Sunday, when he surpassed 2,000 rushing yards for the season in the Titans' 41-38 road victory over the Houston Texans.
