Larry King hospitalized with COVID-19

Talk show host Larry King is reportedly hospitalized with COVID-19 in Los Angeles.

According to a Showbiz411 exclusive, the 87-year-old broadcaster has spent the last 10 days at a Los Angeles health facility where he continues to battle the virus. Two of his five children ― Andy King, 65, and Chaia King, 51 ― died weeks apart in 2020: Andy King of a heart attack and Chaia King of lung cancer.

King has Type 2 diabetes and has had a long history of medical issues, including several heart attacks, lung cancer and angina, a condition caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.

A total of 125,379 people were hospitalised with COVID-19 on Thursday, more than any other day of the pandemic, according to the Covid Tracking Project.

Mr King has been open about his many health issues. The 52-year-old daughter of the TV legend passed away on August 19, 2020, after losing her battle with lung cancer (via Daily Mail). No parent should ever have to bury a child.

King - who also has Cannon, 20, Chance, 21, and Larry Jr, 59 - admitted he needed "a little time and privacy to heal". He also hosts the weekly "Politicking with Larry King" on those channels.
