Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey defends election process after Trump attack

Incumbent US President Donald Trump has refused to concede the election to Biden, making baseless claims of election fraud that have not succeeded in US state and federal courts.

The new lawsuit said the misconduct in Wisconsin included illegal orders from state election officials and mishandling of ballots by municipal election officials in Milwaukee and Madison.

Mr Evers' signature was required by law and is typically a procedural step that receives little attention.

Georgia certified its vote results, which saw Biden winning by over 12,000 votes, on November 20 after a full hand recount.

Even as state officials certified the results, Trump's lawyers, Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis, held a meeting at a downtown Phoenix hotel to lay out claims of irregularities in Arizona's vote count.

Hours earlier Arizona also certified its election results, affirming Biden as the first Democrat to be victorious in the state since 1996.

Ducey pointed to the statute requiring Arizona's secretary of state to canvass the election results in front of the governor and attorney general on the fourth Monday after the general election.

Barr made his comments on Tuesday in an interview with the Associated Press shortly before revealing he had elevated federal prosecutor John Durham to the status of special counsel and assigned him to keep probing the origins of the United States government's own probe into the role that Russian Federation played in Trump's 2016 election win.

Jake Paul Bests Nate Robinson With Violent 2nd Round Knock Out
Perhaps the most ridiculous moment came when Paul knocked Robinson down the first time. "There's a long list of opponents I want". Although he ended the fight laying motionless on the mat, Robinson tried to use his speed to get inside on Paul and catch him.

While the Trump team's aggressive emails-sometimes as many as 15 per day-purport to be raising money for an "Official Election Defense Fund" set up to finance the president's flailing legal effort to overturn the election, the fund does not exist.

At the brief signing event to certify the election results, Hobbs said the system is strong. The state has 10 electoral votes.

When Trump narrowly carried the state in 2016, his campaign did not challenge practices like in-person absentee voting and clerks filling out missing witness information.

Trump is not challenging any ballots cast in conservative counties he won.

But they did not provide evidence of widespread fraud. Trump's campaign has made allegations of foul play in each of those states.

Nine Republican lawmakers attended the hearing, which was expected to last for several hours.

"To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election", the news service quoted Barr as saying.

In fact, election officials from both political parties have stated publicly that the election went well and worldwide observers confirmed there were no serious irregularities.
