A federal appeals court in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania upheld a previous ruling by a lower court against the re-election campaign of President Donald Trump, dealing another blow to his effort to overturn the results of the November 3 election.

"This is total fraud", he stated.

After having to demand more "respect", he continued to explain how he has not lost the elections and it was only due to alleged rigged elections and voter fraud that led to Biden's historic win.

It was filled with classic Trumpesque moments with the President spouting baseless claims of election fraud and de-legitimizing the entire election process.

Trump also said the Federal Bureau of Investigation and DOJ were "missing in action", bemoaning that the agencies weren't doing enough to prove his unsubstantiated claims.

President Donald Trump was convinced he would win on election night, and exploded with anger when Fox News projected that the Democrats had flipped Arizona, The Washington Post reported.

The official noted that all briefings related to the Coronavirus response will likely be handled by the White House Coronavirus task force and HHS, and not by the National Security Council.

With several important federal deadlines coming up for the election process, including a December 8 deadline for states to resolve all election disputes, Trump declined to say when his time fighting the results would be up.

"I went from winning by a lot to losing by a little", he said.

Biden won the electoral college vote - the state-by-state competition deciding the victor - by 306 to 232.

"It's hard to get into the Supreme Court", he said, adding that his lawyers had told him, "It's very hard to get a case up there".

His remarks came as the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Saturday overturned a lower court's order that blocked election officials from certifying the results of the presidential election.

Even as the clock runs down on his single term, Trump declined to say on Fox News whether he sees an expiry date for his unsuccessful legal campaign. But with more than 70 million voters who came out for him this year, Trump should have no problem putting together a war chest and maintaining a kind of alternative White House that would challenge every detail of the Joe Biden administration's policy and wield pressure on Republican lawmakers who would be forced to go along or face the wrath of their base.

Asked if he saw a path to victory, he said: "I hope so".

Trump told reporters on Thursday that he will leave the White House if the Electoral College votes for Biden, even though it would be a mistake.
