A federal appeals court in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania upheld a previous ruling by a lower court against the re-election campaign of President Donald Trump, dealing another blow to his effort to overturn the results of the November 3 election.

Asked if he saw a path to victory, he said: "I hope so".
