James Avery, who played Philip Banks aka Uncle Phil passed away in 2013.
Janet Hubert-Whitten, who played Vivian Banks for the first three seasons before departing the show due to clashes with Will Smith, will also make an appearance.
Actor Will Smith announced today that the Banks family will come together for "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion", premiering November 19 on HBO Max. He added that he couldn't let the 30th anniversary of the series, which premiered September 10, 1990 and ran until 1996, "go by without marking the occasion".
In it, we see that the Banks family is reunited for the 30th anniversary special, including the original Aunt Viv, Janet Hubert.
