ESPN's Coverage of WNBA Finals Game 3 Up 34% Year-Over-Year

Storm broadcaster Elise Woodward will host the virtual event, where fans will hear from the players of the 2020 WNBA Championship team.

"I wasn't sure if I was ever going to be back to where I was", Stewart said of her fears from the Achilles injury she sustained while playing in Europe in April 2019. During her Achilles recovery, Stewart focused on her ball handling and it showed in these Finals as she improved her assist numbers to four per game (2.5 in 2018 playoffs) and dropped her turnover numbers to 1.2 per game (2.3 per game in 2018 playoffs). The 33-point margin of victory was the largest in WNBA Finals history. Veteran guard Sue Bird added five points and seven assists. She was the leading scorer for the Storm in all three of Seattle's Finals victories, helping her earn MVP honors.

With their fourth championship, the Storm are presently attached with the now-ancient Houston Comets and the Minnesota Lynx for the most titles in WNBA history. Add that to her four national championships at CT, her four NCAA women's basketball Final Four Most Outstanding Player awards and her numerous gold medals with USA Basketball.

Stewart saw her minutes limited to just 25 as she got into foul trouble early on Tuesday, but she ended the night with 26 points, her sixth consecutive Finals game with at least 20 points, which amounts to the longest streak in league history, passing Cynthia Cooper and Angel McCoughtry.

Outside of Sue Bird, who will turn 40 on October 16, the core of this Storm team is young, led by the two-time Finals MVP Breanna Stewart, who just finished her fourth WNBA season with her second championship.

Lakers will bring back Markieff Morris on two-year deal
Gasol was originally drafted by the Lakers but was traded to Memphis as part of a trade involving his brother. Lakers forward Markieff Morris blocks a shot by Heat center Bam Adebayo during Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

There is no news yet whether the WNBA will return to play in a bubble of some kind during the 2021 season.

The win capped a championship run where the Storm won all six of their postseason games, winning by an average of 15.3 points per game.

While the Aces season ends in a disappointing 3-0 loss in The Finals, the 2020 seaosn will be remembered as one that exceeded expectations.

The Aces were led to the one seed in the playoffs by 24-year-old MVP A'ja Wilson. The Aces future still remains bright. I know one thing, Joe Biden did not get 80 million votes.
