Beyond Meat and other plant-based protein makers have been grappling with how to best position themselves when it comes to nutrition.
On Monday, the plant-based "meat" maker announced it is rolling out two new versions of the Beyond Burger in early 2021.
While the latest iterations won't hit shelves in the United States until early 2021, the company is unveiling the Beyond Burgers at an exclusive preview in Los Angeles November 18-20, where you can reserve a slot to try the burgers.
The other offering, described as "its most nutritious patty yet", contains 55 percent less saturated fat than a traditional beef burger.
Both burgers will boast the same savory taste profile, have lower overall fat and fewer calories than 80/20 beef and have B vitamins and minerals comparable to the micronutrient profile of beef. "Just as you can find different varieties of ground beef, consumers will now have more choice to satisfy their individual nutritional needs and preferences".
Chris Pratt's Star-Lord Will Appear in 'Thor: Love and Thunder'
Let us know in the comments! But we've got Taika Waititi , the same director back, he's writing the script now . It's the fourth time, the fourth Thor film and I think the eighth or ninth time I've been in a Marvel movie.
Furthermore, according to a CNBC Now tweet, a spokesperson for Beyond Meat has stated that "Beyond Meat and McDonald's co-created the plant-based patty which will be available as part of their McPlant platform", with Ian Borden, president of all of McDonald's' worldwide markets, previously saying that McPlant was created "by McDonald's and for McDonald's." and hinting at the possibility that the future McPlant line could also include chicken substitutes.
Shakey's said the burger's patty will be made from "unMeat", the plant-based meat alternative brand from its sister company Century Pacific Food Inc.
The company will be unveiling the Beyond Burgers at an exclusive preview in Los Angeles November 18-20 - slots for which have already been sold out.
The new sausage links mark Beyond Meat's fourth retail product launch this year following Beyond Breakfast Sausage Patties, Cookout Classic and Beyond Meatballs, which the company released last month.
