Almost 1.6 million Minnesotans have already cast ballots


Under Michigan law, first time voters can register anytime on or before Election Day at their local Clerk's Office.

Colorado voters have participated in mail-in elections for seven years.

A statewide voter registration roll prevents double voting.

Another 82,448 people cast their ballots since Thursday, either by mailing in ballots or voting early. Likewise, if a person mailed in a ballot that has been received, polling centers will have a record of that and won't issue a new ballot.

Residents can still register to vote and cast a ballot on Monday and Election Day.

More than 1.3 million of voters who have already cast their ballots did so using mail-in voting. Voters will also need to sign a declaration confirming they are surrendering the ballot and voting in person.
