The Covid-19 rebound continued today in Hamilton County

The Department of Health confirmed that there were 1,407 new cases Monday, in addition to 1,666 new cases reported Sunday - for a two-day total of 3,073 additional positive cases of COVID-19 That brings the statewide total to 195,695.

Huntersville: 1,212 cumulative cases total; 14 deaths total. Leahy says health officials are concerned about Halloween activities - specifically about large parties and older ages spreading the virus. The state's seven-day positivity rate has been increasing since late June, when it was around 4%.

There were 12 new deaths reported Sunday, Oct. 25, and 7 new deaths reported for Monday, Oct. 26 for a total of 8,673 deaths attributed to COVID-19. All of the deaths happened in October. The other highest reporting counties in that time include Berks (209), DE (179), Allegheny (177), Montgomery (172), Luzerne (143), Lancaster (134) and Westmoreland (125).

Information is also available for COVID-19 cases and deaths among DuPage County residents by race, ethnicity, severity, long-term care facility outcomes, underlying medical conditions and doubling time.

According to the state's covid-19 tracking website, there are 1,138 residents now hospitalized for the virus, 108 of them on ventilators.

There have been a total of 195,695 cases of coronavirus in Pennsylvania since the pandemic began in March. A total of 2,241,430 individuals have tested negative to date.
