Rumors say that whatever Wanda does in WandaVision will cause chaos with the multiverse, setting up a shockwave across the MCU that will affect future movies.
Reports that odd is joining the next Spider-Man only fueled speculation among fans that the film might involve the multiverse in some way. It seems that Cumberbatch's Stephen Strange will play a mentor role opposite Holland's Peter Parker, effectively replacing the role that Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark did for the young Avenger.
The Sorcerer Supreme's second solo outing received't be arriving till March 2022, although, three months after Spider-Man 3 hits theaters. Electro had appeared last in a Spider-Man movie starred by Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man 2). Currently, we don't know if it's a sizeable role or just a cameo. Cast members expected to return include Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson. Joking aside, Holland and Cumberbatch had good chemistry in the scenes they shared in Avengers: Infinity War, so most fans should see this is a welcome development.

Foxx shared a picture to Instagram in which he all but confirmed he is returning to the role, but in the picture he chose there were multiple Spideys, suggesting that there could be another - live action, perhaps?
