Two versions of the console will be available for purchase at launch - the regular console and the PS5 Digital Edition, which comes without a disc drive.
In a blog post, the company said that the PS5 will have a wide range of streaming apps on the console which will serve as many users' primary video-watching device. The short spot, all in black and white, features a few key creatives that helped with the design and production of the PlayStation 5 console.
As on PlayStation 4, Twitch and YouTube will also be integrated into the system's Create button functionality to broadcast your gaming online, while Spotify can play music for you while you game.
In the Media space, you won't need to download apps from the PS Store - it will all be there for you.
Streaming-oriented gamers who buy the PS5 will likely be thankful for the addition of these shortcut buttons, along with a redesigned UI that will make finding and launching apps more straightforward.
Giuliani Appears to Touch Himself in Borat Scene
In July, it was revealed that Rudy Giuliani called police on Sacha Baron Cohen following an interview for an unnamed project. Despite the lack of actual gaming, Lupo showed a trailer for Baron Cohen's upcoming film that releases on Friday, Oct. 23.
"We know that for many of you, your PlayStation console doesn't get shut off when you're done playing games", Sony's Phil Rosenberg writes.
US Cord-cutting pay TV alternatives like Sling, Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV are also missing from the platform.
While being sold unofficially, UK-based company PlateStation 5 revealed that they'll be selling their custom-made PS5 faceplates for £32 each, less than half the price of a PlayStation 5 game. And, the users will be able to experience it through Media Remote, which will be provided alongside the console.
Disney+ will be making the cut, as well as Netflix, Spotify, Twitch and YouTube.
The Media Remote has built-in play/pause, fast forward and fast reverse controls, and can turn on your PS5. The remote also lets users adjust volume and power settings on compatible TVs.
