Massive turnout as Americans cast early election votes

Droves of people headed to the polls in New York City Saturday, creating long lines that wrapped around polling locations on the first day that the state allowed early voting.

Over 56 million Americans across the country have participated in early voting, by mail or in-person, with President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence also going to polling stations earlier this week.

" In 2016 we had a total of 61,339 in person early voting ballots".

He expects 70,000 to 80,000 early votes will be cast for this election.
