Washington, Oct 17 (IANS) US President Donald Trump joked that he would have to leave the country if he loses the November 3 election to his Democratic rival Joe Biden. And earlier this week, Mr Trump had to court voters in Iowa, a state he carried by nearly 10 points four years ago.
"All president Trump is offering the people of MI is more lies and distractions", Biden said in the statement.
His victory marked the first time the state, which former President Barack Obama won in 2012 by 9.5 percentage points, had been won by a Republican presidential candidate since George HW Bush won it in 1988.
Crowds gathered at the president's subsequent events, many without masks as well. "I will never speak to you again".
Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden are to hold a final debate next Thursday.
The anti-Trump Republican group The Lincoln Project posted the video of Trump and captioned it "Promise?"
