Adele Flexes Her American Accent In HIGHlarious SNL Promo


15-time Grammy victor Adele masked up and studied her script at Manhattan's 30 Rockefeller Plaza in the first behind-the-scenes look of her hosting debut on this week's Saturday Night Live.

Adele has appeared on the long-running NBC sketch series twice as musical guest, including a memorable 2008 performance that helped propel her career in North America.

In the teaser, Adele appears alongside SNL's Kate McKinnon and music act H.E.R, with the trio all sporting masks.

Usually when someone is the host or musical guest Saturday night liveYou have something to promote: a new film, a new album, an offer from the President. Adele then inches toward the camera to say, "or maybe me".

In the clips, there is some confusion as to who Adele is referring to when he says he is "her", and Adele McKinnon, in an interesting, "British" one, responds with a very impressive American accent.
