‘Where am I blaming her?’: Sunil Gavaskar responds to Anuskha Sharma

A report on Filmfare regarding Sharma's statement carries this line: "While doing commentary Gavaskar made a comment saying, "Inhone lockdown me to bas Anushka ki gendon ki practice ki hai.' The comment was distasteful as he dragged even Anushka Sharma's name into it".

Sunil Gavaskar: Jo Practice jarurat hoti hai, wo unko karne ka mauka hi nahi mila, Aur wo bade.chahte ki jitni wo practice kare utni wo.usi se to wo behtar ban sakte hai, wo khud jaante hai.

"He [Kohli] wants to... he knows the more he practises the better he will become". During the lockdown, he practiced only against Anushka's bowling.

RCB were handed a 97-run thrashing at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium with Kohli having a poor outing both on the field and with the bat. "I am the one who has always said that like a normal guy going to office for a 9-5 job, when he comes back home, he comes back to his wife, similarly why can't cricketers have their wives with them", Gavaskar said.

While referring to it, Gavaskar had said that Kohli faced only his wife's bowling during the lockdown which isn't enough for his practice.

"She was bowling to him, that's all".

Secret Service Thwarts Potential Ricin Assassination Attempt on President Trump
Law enforcement officials said a letter was detected at an off-site facility that screens mail addressed to the White House. Back in 2018, a former member of the Navy was suspected of sending ricin in letters addressed to the Pentagon and Trump .

Moreover, even Anushka Sharma came up with a long Instagram story asking an explanation from the cricketer-turned-commentator for accusing her for her husband's game.

"I am sure over the years you have respected the private lives of every cricketer while commentating on the game. Don't you think you should have equal amount of respect for me and us?", Sharma said. Virat also had no practice and the only practice that they had when they were seen them playing in their building compund and Anushka was bowling to him. "When will I stop getting dragged into cricket and stop being used to pass sweeping statements?"

Sunil Gavaskar was perhaps referring to the viral video in which Virat Kohli could be seen playing cricket with his wife in his house.

"Respected Mr Gavaskar, you are a legend whose name stands tall in this gentleman's game". In a video clip shared on the official Instagram account of the IPL team, the couple cut a celebratory cake, fed each other and embraced the moment with gentle kisses on each other's cheeks, which their fans couldn't stop swooning over.

Did Kohli miss cricket during the lockdown?

Or did you hear something that I obviously missed?
