US West Coast wildfires claim at least 33 lives

The state suffered 14,000 dry lightning strikes which set off hundreds of fires, some that combined into creating five of the 10 largest fires in its recorded history. In the past week, 25 people in three states have died.

Officials said the fires have burned 258,802 acres and were 26 percent contained as of Sunday morning.
