Huawei's consumer business group CEO Richard Yu and Wang Chenglu, president of Huawei's consumer business group's software department gave an update on Thursday to the company's annual developer conference in the southern Chinese city of Dongguan.

The HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system and enriched applications and tools supporting various devices enable Huawei to establish its own ecosystem in the face of a strict technology export ban by U.S. authorities.
Huawei said the mobile applications integrated with HMS so far have exceeded 96,000.
Washington in early August called on American and foreign app developers to boycott Huawei's platform.
