Aubameyang signs new three-year contract at Arsenal

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang used a live video recording on Twitter on Tuesday to announce he has signed a contract extension with the Premier League club.

"Of course I knew about Arsenal before I arrived", he said in a separate video celebrating his new deal.

The Argentine kept nine clean sheets in 23 games last season and helped Arsenal win the FA Cup, and also started in their Community Shield triumph over Liverpool at the start of 2020/21.

Aston Villa confirmed the signing of Martinez on Wednesday morning for a fee of £15 million and it ends his ten year association with the Gunners after signing as a teenager in 2010.
