A new report is saying that Samsung will stop bundling chargers with phones starting next year. Samsung is following Apple's footsteps and is planning to ship its upcoming flagships without chargers.

In recent years, manufacturers of accessories such as wearables and wireless earphones have made a decision to forgo power adapters in order to reduce packaging size and the cost of the products.

The analyst said this prediction is based on the new handsets' components, including technologies allowing support for 5G networks as well as the use of OLED display panels on all models.

Rumors promises that Apple will start the typical Iphone 12 in two sizes this calendar year, with 5.4 and 6.1 inches, while the Iphone 12 Professional will be provided in 6.1 and 6.7 inches.

If this plan is really applicable, it is not possible to say that Samsung will reduce the price of its phones because the charger is not such an expensive item. In this way, the corporation could better bear the production costs of the devices and sell a larger number of chargers as a separate accessory.
