Glee Star Naya Rivera Missing As Son Discovered On Boat Alone

Rivera, 33, who played high school cheerleader Santana Lopez in the television series until 2015, went missing on Wednesday after renting a boat on Lake Piru with her four-year-old son. Jackee tweeted a clip from the show of her and Naya acting together after she disappeared while asking for prayers that she will be found. "I'm just sad. Naya Rivera was one of the first people I had the honor of working with back in 2009 when I got into public relations and moved to Hollywood". The boy told authorities he and his mother had gone swimming but she never got back into the boat.

"We are switching efforts to search and recovery efforts", Ventura Country Sheriff's spokesman Chris Dyer told reporters on Thursday.

"Elsewhere, YouTuber Colleen Ballinger, who is known for her character Miranda Sings, indicated that she started praying for her safety".

After the boat was overdue for a return, staff found the watercraft on the north side of the lake with Josey sleeping aborad. Iqbal Thebawrote, another "Glee" star wrote on Twitter: "Oh God... mercy... please...", while re-posting a report of Rivera's disappearance.

Rivera's son is from a marriage with actor Ryan Dorsey.

It's reported that Naya rented the boat at approximately 1pm that afternoon for she and her son to take out on the lake.
