After the death of George Floyd, an unarmed African American man in police custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota, thousands are demanding racial justice and reform in USA law enforcement. We are all equal and it doesn't matter our origin, the colour of our skin, our religion, our sexuality, we are all human.
The protest in London was organised by the Black Lives Matter movement and started in Trafalgar Square, where people chanted Mr Floyd's name and knelt on the floor en masse, before heading to the United States embassy in Battersea.
It has led to protests around the world and reignited anger over police killings of black Americans.
Perhaps the protest remained peaceful because of the restraint shown by members of the Auburndale Police Department, who came out visibly in force but mostly stood at the perimeter.
DECIEM, the parent company of The Ordinary, is donating $100,000 across Black Lives Matter and The NAACP Legal Defence & Educational Fund. Skincare brand Sunday Riley has committed to donate $50,000 to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund in honour of George Floyd. Chauvin has since been fired and placed under arrest for third-degree murder and manslaughter.
Justice Horn was one of the organizers of Sunday's Black Lives Matter protest, which included several speakers from 2 to 4 p.m.
