Good jobs numbers are a 'great day' for murdered George Floyd

Mr Trump was apparently referring to a surge in employment.

"The only thing that can stop us is bad policy", Trump said at a triumphant news conference at the White House, setting aside a week of turmoil over his hostility toward nationwide protests against police brutality. "It's a great day for everybody", he said. "We can't let that happen. There's a great, great day in terms of equality".

"We're going to have the strongest economy in the world."Another reporter chimed in "Sir, just to follow up, how would a better economy have protected George Floyd?" When Alcindor challenged Trump on this point, he dismissed her with a wave and said: "You are something".

According to USA Today, polls from CBS News, Emerson College, Reuters/Ipsos and Monmouth University have also found that most Americans disapprove of Trump's handling of Floyd's murder.
