While the couple wanted the birth to be a private matter, newspapers, for whom stories about the royals are popular with many readers, felt that as members of the British royal family, they needed to recognize that the public which funded the institution had a right to know about it.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are now in LA where they are starting their new lives.

At the milestone age of 1, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor has already seen three continents and lived in three countries.

Dressed off-duty chic, Meghan wore an oversized denim shirt, and wore her hair up in a neat bun.

The clip, filmed by Prince Harry, shows the duchess reading Duck!

In a chat with OK! magazine, author Katie said: "Meghan's an incredible cook and loves being creative in the kitchen so I think she'll have been busy baking so Archie can enjoy his first taste of birthday cake this week".

'End of the beginning' of fight against COVID-19
Henry said during an epidemiology presentation today, May 4, that looked at how B.C. has "deflected the curve". COVID-19 has claimed three lives over the past two days, bringing the death total to 117.

Meghan and Archie are dressed for the warmer California climate in the video, with the duchess in shorts, and Archie in a babygrow and nappy.

Then, in a move that everyone who has spent time with a toddler would recognize, at one point, Archie gets distracted and picks up a different book from the floor and playfully throws it back down and Harry can be heard chuckling at his antics. (Duke of Sussex/@SaveChildrenUK) Meghan gave Archie a kiss at the end of the video.

"The Duchess chose to read one of Archie's favourite stories,"Duck!"

The campaign encourages people to read stories to their children and share them on Instagram and Facebook in the hope people will donate.

Fans were wondering if the Queen would publicly recognize Archie's birthday following Harry and Meghan's decision to step down as seniors of the Royal Family earlier this year. Countries are under huge pressure in responding to the pandemic, and education budgets risk being reduced. Pricing and availability are subject to change.
