Singers Sam Smith and Demi Lovato teamed up to release the song "I'm Ready" and have managed to fascinate all their fans, thus reaching half a million views in the official video just a few hours after being released.
'Yeah, you know me, I'm always sharing all of my feelings all the time and trying to be as human as possible but sometimes maybe people can read it wrongly but that wasn't really meaning it in a malicious or nasty way, I was just trying to be myself'. "I don't want to sing my songs, I don't want to sing and film it, I just want to walk around the house and sing, '" Smith said. He added, "It nearly sounds a bit musical theater at times".
Sam continued explaining, "Like it feels cheesy at times". And that's completely intentional.
"As everyone was kind of really on lockdown, that's when I got over it, luckily", the singer continued, revealing they're now feeling much better.
"With us, with me and Demi singing, I know that we're so inspired by those things, those musical theatre (influences)", Smith added. It's really fun to go to that place. Sam also considers the song to be a raised middle-finger to the status quo. It's really, really cool.
