Pitt's depiction followed a Fauci interview on CNN when he jokingly said he thought Pitt should portray him when he was asked to chose between Ben Stiller or Pitt.

"Relatively soon is an interesting phrase. Sure the vaccine's going to come real fast", Fauci said.

We all want Brad Pitt to play us in a movie or on television one day, don't we?

The 56-year-old Fight Club actor took fans by surprise when he opened the show remotely on Saturday, in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

In another clip, the president claimed that "anybody that needs a test gets a test" and that they are "beautiful". "I have no idea", Fauci said. "Also, when he said "everyone can get a test" what he meant was, nearly no one". Let's hope this is only the first of several appearances we get from Pitt.

Cut back to Pitt, who had no response, but his mouth hung open.

"When I hear things like the virus can be cured if everyone takes the Tide Pod Challenge, I'll be there to say, 'please don't", Pitt's Fauci added.

Pitt then pulled off his wig and addressed the camera as himself.

Brad as Fauci said. He also thanked the medical workers, first responders and their families.
