OnePlus' official website has removed the OnePlus 7T Pro from listings.

After pushing back the launch date thrice due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as revealed by CEO Pete Lau, OnePlus has chose to move ahead with the launch of the much-awaited OnePlus 8 series.

As we know already, the OnePlus 8 has a punch-hole design with a single selfie camera placed on the top left corner of the curved display.

OnePlus also promises an upgrade on the 90Hz refresh rate display that also debuted on the OnePlus 7 Pro, cranking it up 120Hz, matching the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The OnePlus 8 series will bring a truly "burdenless' experience to all our users, who have come to expect nothing but the best all-around flagship smartphones from us", said Pete Lau, founder and CEO of OnePlus. The screen will come with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. To recall, OnePlus had introduced the 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display past year and was the first to offers a QHD+ OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The wallpaper in the first image matches the one seen in a render of the device in green, so that color looks nearly certain.

It comes as a surprise since the company is yet to announce the launch date of its next smartphones. There should also be 30W wired fast charging, along with fast 30W wireless charging, the first time this feature has appeared on a OnePlus phone. The new flagship killers will officially be unveiled on 14th April. The OnePlus 8 series is launching on April 14 and you can watch the launch event in India at 8:30pm via the livestream from OnePlus. Both models will purportedly have a Snapdragon 865 processor, but it's said that the 8 Pro could have a larger 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen while the 8 has a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. The brand is yet to reveal whether this information is true or not.
