March's full moon is a supermoon, or one that occurs when the moon is closest to the Earth in its elliptical orbit. And what makes supermoons particularly "super" is that they're 7% larger and 15% brighter than your run of the mill full moon!
Supermoons only occur when a full moon coincides with the Moon's closest approach to the planet.

A supermoon differs from a full moon in one important regard. In this case, the ground began to soften in March so that earthworms could appear, drawing more birds to feed, according to the Farmer's Almanac.

Why is it called WORM MOON? Crow Moon, Worm Moon, Crust Moon and Sap Moon are all drawn from Indigenous traditions, while Europeans historically called this the Lenten Moon. The supermoon will be visible in its entirety starting tonight, but it technically won't be at its fullest until starting on Monday. The moon will appear brighter and bigger in the night sky and hopefully no clouds and inclement weather will obscure the view.
Virgo is Pisces' polar opposite and during tonight's Full Moon phase, the sun directly opposes the Moon.
