Clare Crawley Is *Officially* Announced as the Next Bachelorette

ABC announced the newest "Bachelorette" on Good Morning America Monday, and she's a familiar face! Crawley is certainly an unconventional choice for the lead.

Clare Crawley, a 38-year-old hair stylist from Sacramento, CA will be the next in a quest to find true love in the upcoming season of the hit reality series.

Bachelor Nation, get ready to say farewell to Peter Weber and hello to your new leading lady! She's also a really chill, nice person who doesn't put up with anyone's bullsh*t and is clearly on this show for the.wait for it.RIGHT REASONS.

Not to mention, her journey feels very similar to former lead Nick Viall, who also had multiple stints on the franchise before being named Bachelor. "I've gone through a lot of personal growth in the last couple of years".

Largest daily rise in South Korea coronavirus cases
Amid lingering concerns about a so-called community spread, sporadic cases in other cities and provinces have been growing. As of Saturday, health authorities had run tests on 90,905 suspected cases with 8,143 cases scanned in the same day alone.

Season 16 of "The Bachelorette" will debut sometime in 2020.

The next year, Clare returned, hopeful that she'd find her match, but her search was not fruitful. As the bachelorettehas been younger in recent years, the contestants have typically been in their 20s with a few outliers in their early 30s.

The Bachelorette continues to be a strong ratings driver for ABC, ranking as No. 1 series of the summer in Adults 18-49 past year. This is the first time in Bachelorette history that the show's lead didn't come from the previous season of The Bachelor. "Casting is still happening this week", Reality Steve tweeted out. Her last post was a poignant quote from Brené Brown, which reads "Choose courage over comfort. In their words, in light of the significant age difference, compared to the original possible candidates, they made a decision to forgo younger guys, aka me, moving forward with the show", Canfield wrote.

As for what viewers can expect on Clare's season, Reality Steve reported that fans can anticipate an "older cast" of men due to Clare being 38, and turning 39 during filming. It is highly unusual for Bachelor Franchise cast members to have children, so the fact that there are already four parents in Crawley's season is truly unique. This timing makes sense since the anticipated start date for season 16 is the end of May. Older and more responsible contestants hopefully mean that there will be less petty drama and fighting.
