Manchester United have been linked with Aston Villa star Jack Grealish for quite some time and the latest reports going on in the media are very positive for the Red Devils.

The same article claims that Grealish has even already begun house hunting in anticipation of his transfer to Old Trafford this summer.

In all competitions, he has so far featured in 27 games and directly contributed in no fewer than 16 goals (9 goals and 7 assists).

United have jumped to the front of the queue for Grealish, with Paul Pogba's future still up in the air.

Grealish is just the kind of player that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's wants as he continues to rebuild his squad at Old Trafford, and reports are claiming that an offer of £140 million will be made.

Grealish has come a long way since being touted as one of the most promising young English midfielders in his breakout campaign in 2014-15.

Indeed, the same article says that Manchester United are prepared to use a portion of the transfer fee for any deal for Pogba in a move to sign Grealish this summer.

The British source have mentioned that Solskjaer's primary target to improve his attacking midfield was James Maddison but the England global is close to agreeing a new deal with Leicester City.

Grealish's arrival would give Solskjaer another attacking option as he can play as a winger on either flank, and can also operate behind the striker.

Having been left on the back foot for most of the winter transfer window, it appears that United are now laying the groundwork for a more efficient summer period, which will be disrupted by players going on worldwide duty.

Jesse Lingard may also leave in the summer after employing Mino Raiola as his new agent.
