Barack Obama Remembers Kobe And Gianna Bryant In Touching Speech

The public memorial will take place nearly one month after the January 26 helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Kobe, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others.

"The untimely passing of Kobe Bryant has left us in a state of reflective mourning and we're proud to honour his legacy while also recognising seven other individuals who have meant so much to our game".

There was no immediate information about how many total tickets will be for sale to the public. The Final Target Score will be determined by taking the leading team's total cumulative score through three quarters and adding 24 points - the 24 representing Bryant's jersey number for the final 10 seasons of his National Basketball Association career. They will be notified on Tuesday if they've been verified and invited to participate in the ticket release, which will open on Wednesday at 10 a.m. pacific time.

A public memorial for Kobe as well as Gianna Bryant will certainly happen onFeb 24 at the Los Angeles Lakers' Staples Center.

Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, the Lakers said.

The Batman First Glimpse Released by Matt Reeves
Robert Pattinson's Batman officially has a bat suit , a bat jaw and most importantly, an intricate bat logo on the chest. How he got his hands on the gun, we can only speculate until the movie comes out on June 25, 2021.

The league previously announced one team would wear No. 2, which was the number Gianna wore playing on a youth team, and one team would wear No. 24, the number Bryant wore during the last half of his career.

The service will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Fox News reported.

Currently, there are no plans for a ceremony outside the downtown Los Angeles venue, nor at the nearby L.A. Live.

Until recently, an area in front of Staples Center was the site of a massive fan memorial comprising flowers, jerseys and other mementos.

The memorial falls on a Monday between two Lakers home games.
