North Dakota reports 1200 more flu cases compared to a year ago

The state is urging New Yorkers to get flu shots after seeing a 79 percent increase in laboratory-confirmed flu cases over the past week.

Wisconsin had been in the low flu category but the CDC made the change Thursday.

So far this flu season, at least 2,900 people in the United States are estimated to have died of the flu, according to data released Friday by the CDC.

Over 100 people died from the flu during the last flu season in Arkansas and 200 the year before that.

Flu vaccines are being offered for free at the Tennessee Department of Health's regional offices, though supplies are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

"And there may be other viruses circulating after the influenza Bs that are here right now". The department said that version of the flu causes a disproportionate amount of severe illness in young children, teens and middle-aged adults.

The figures of the family's public work were compiled and published Monday by Britain's Press Association. Queen Elizabeth put in a total of 67 days while Charles worked a total of 125 days.

The flu is now widespread across the state of Iowa.

It is not too late to get vaccinated, said Scott Pauley, a press officer for CDC.

New numbers from the North Dakota Health Department concerning this year's flu season are nothing to sneeze about.

A common respiratory virus known as RSV is also going around.

Jamie Swift, Ballad Health's director of infection prevention, said that they're now working with officials from Washington County and Johnson City Schools to prevent another spike in flu illnesses, and will be speaking with other area school districts in the coming days.
