Former UTSA Football Player Charged With Murdering His Sister

Michael Egwuagu, 25, has been accused of killing his 32-year-old sister Jennifer Chima Ebichi on Friday in Pflugerville.

According to the local police of Pflugerville (city of Texas), in the investigation of the body, they found that the female was stabbed and harm multiple times.

KEYE reported that witnesses told authorities they had heard Egwuagu say something along those lines when he left the house with a bloody knife in hand and a smile on his face.

Ebichi's body was found lying in a pool of blood in her kitchen, allegedly stabbed by her younger brother, who according to witnesses admitted to killing.

The woman Ebichi had asked for help told investigators that when she got to the house, she heard the mother and her children screaming and Michael Egwuagu yelling inside. He then knelt as if in prayer in the street, where he was arrested.

Egwuagu was arrested at the scene.

"This was a shock for us", neighbor Ben Nguyen told the Austin American-Statesman from his front porch.

Officials said that Egwuagu showed up to his sister's house around 5:30 a.m. and "was having a crisis".

First responders tried to make efforts to save her life, but those attempts were not successful, Dark said. Martin Egwuagu reportedly picked up the children and then confronted his brother, who described him as "one of the good guys".

Fox News notes that the former University of Texas at San Antonio football player was captured by a doorbell cam leaving his sister's house shortly after the murder uttering the words, "I killed Jennifer".
