After Debate, Warren Told Sanders: 'I Think You Called Me A Liar'

Audio reveals Warren accused Sanders: "I think you called me a liar on national TV". I just happen to think that Amy Klobuchar would have much better odds than Elizabeth Warren who is, totally aside from her gender, nearly a dream foil for Trump.

Senator Sanders: "You know, let's not do it right now". "You told me... All right, let's not do it now".

Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders just had a fight worthy of "Real Housewives" TV. After the network's treatment of Bernie Sanders in a recent Iowa debate, the left joined them on Twitter.

A few hours earlier, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), a close White House ally, spoke at a Capitol Hill press conference and, unprompted, started talking about the existence of Democratic superdelegates - which McCarthy described as "horrific" - before accusing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) of delaying the president's Senate impeachment trial in order to somehow "hurt" Bernie Sanders.

Just before CNN published the audio, Sanders addressed his supporters via an online video and said that in the past two days, his campaign has raised US$4 million (NZ$6) from about 200,000 contributors, including 25,000 people who had not previously contributed to his campaign.

If Sanders had said privately that he had fears about America voting for a female candidate, he's not saying anything you don't hear from pretty much every other Democrat who is desperate to beat Trump in 2020.

But Warren refused to shake Sanders' outstretched hand afterward, indicating that hard feelings remain.

Bieber teases about new music with Quavo and Murda Beatz
On Monday, pop superstar Justin Bieber hit up Twitter to show Roddy some love and salute his record dominating the chart. As music blog Genius reports, Bieber is also employing more Billboard-approved strategies to boosting his song to No. 1.

"Do I believe a woman can win in 2020?"

I can't count the number of times I've heard voters say, "I really like Pete, but do you think he can win?" Biden consistently leads national polls, although the combined vote for Warren and Sanders, who share many similar positions, would exceed Biden's in most polls. Amy Klobuchar had won all of their elections while the men on stage hadn't. The two senators seemed to have a heated and brief exchange before Sanders appeared to throw his hands up, turn and walk away. Collectively they have lost ten elections.

And they're angry at Warren's effort to cast herself as the most electable candidate by claiming to have been the only person on stage to defeat an incumbent Republican in the past 30 years, a moment that led to an awkward debate exchange with Sanders when he seemingly tried to correct her.

I still believe Warren's account of the exchange.

"I don't know that there's any trade agreement that the senator would ever think made any sense", Biden said.

It was notable that before the debate, the two senators shook hands when they arrived on stage. Plenty of Democrats saw Donald Trump as the weakest GOP candidate four years ago, and we now know those assumptions didn't work out especially well.

"It's absolutely something she's had to face the whole time", said Lucy Flores, a former Nevada state lawmaker who has endorsed Warren.
