This week, The Pussycat Dolls announced a limited United Kingdom reunion tour that will reunite Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, and Kimberly Wyatt.

The Pussycat Dolls, who have sold more than 54 million records around the world, plan to launch their reunion with a performance during the final in the UK's X Factor: Celebrity on Saturday, followed by a tour next year.

The group hasn't performed together in 10 years.

Nicole will be reunited with band mates Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Carmit Bachar, and Jessica Sutta - but sadly Melody Thornton won't be returning.

"Half the time, Louis doesn't even know what he's talking about, so I was just surprised he got that one right", teased Scherzinger as they discussed his "accidental" reveal with BBC News.

"I've been working on making this reunion happen now for years, so I am very excited that the stars have aligned for THE PCD REUNION! It was the first time in ages but Robin [Antin] has been trying to wrangle us together for years now".

"There's been unfinished business".

"We're ready to get out there and do what we love". We've all been busy making babies and all those kinds of things!'

Caitlyn Jenner has just revealed that she and Khloe Kardashian have barely talked at all since she came out as trans in 2015.

The Pussycat Dolls are coming back for a 2020 reunion tour, sending a generation of gays who grew up memorising the routine to "Buttons" into a veritable panic.

The girls will be heading to the United Kingdom in April 2020 to officially kick off their tour.

Melody Thornton will not be taking part in the reunion. It is the first single from her upcoming EP.

Her debut single "Show Me" reached number one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart in the United States, and her debut solo album I Say Yes was released on March 3, 2017.

She added that "it was not right" for Melody "at this time", indicating that there may still be some emotional concerns that need to be acknowledged and / or addressed.

"I am so excited and we have grown so much".

And when Amanda Holden asked why they were reuniting now, Ashley replied: "I think it's just the timing".
