The Socceroos' opening match will be against 15-time Copa America champions Uruguay and its star striker Luis Suarez on June 13.

Following 2020's edition, Copa America will be held every four years with the tournament set to head to Ecuador in 2024.

The Copa America has also previously invited Costa Rica, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama and the United States to compete in the tournament with El Tri finishing as runners up twice.
