Browns GM told Beckham he won't be traded

A change in scheme and potentially moving on from head coach Freddie Kitchens might be wiser moves than giving up on Beckham after one season. They explained to Brown that they acquired him via trade with the intention of having him remain a part of the team's core for several years.

"They have told him, 'We do not plan to trade you.' We want you around", Rapoport said on NFL Gameday.

On Wednesday, Beckham went to the podium to stop the madness of his trade rumors.

Beckham told reporters that his anger came from the referees who warned him after his touchdown celebration that another personal foul would result in him being excluded from Cleveland's 31:15 defeat against the Ravens on Sunday.

Those remarks led North Korea's army chief to warn that North Korea would take "prompt corresponding actions at any level". Recent weeks have seen some US and North Korean officials discussing possible military actions once again.

"We were just talking", Beckham said of his sideline interaction with Kitchens. Cleveland is all but eliminated from playoff contention and the wideout has caught a career-low two touchdowns in 14 games.

Beckham's first season with the Browns has been a major disappointment.

Two things are very clear when it comes to the young receiver's regression in production: Beckham's production may be hindered due to the painful sports hernia injury that he has dealt with since training camp.

As recently less than a week ago, one interesting team popped up in the Odell Beckham trade rumor machine - none other than the Browns' chiefs division rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers. "It's not like there was a player in front of me or anybody. It's just too good".
