New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Preview

The New Orleans Saints (7-2) will head to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa to play the Buccaneers (3-6) Sunday.

At the present moment, the Saints have a stranglehold on the NFC South. That game the Saints didn't have Drew Brees as their starter it was Teddy Bridgewater. An offensive line playing without injured guard Andrus Peat protected the 40-year-old quarterback, who was not sacked Sunday after Atlanta got to him six times the previous week.

The offense also got back on track in this game as well after a lackluster week last week against the Atlanta Falcons. He recorded his best game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10, as the former Alabama star caught four passes for 47 yards and his first touchdown of the season. Wide receiver Mike Evans had 82 yards on four catches.

The Saints were able to get a first down on the first play on their next drive but had to punt just three plays later, giving the Buccaneers a chance to trim the 10 point deficit.

O.J. Howard of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had an interception go off his back.

The outlook is bleak all the way around coming out of the loss for Winston, who further endangered his hold on the starting job with yet another multi-interception tally and then sustained the ankle injury near the end of the contest. And after a potential turnover on a fumble by running back Alvin Kamara, which was recovered by linebacker Lavonte David but ruled out of bounds, the Saints took the ball into Buccaneers territory.

Nicolas Cage in talks to star as… Nicolas Cage in new movie
Nicolas Cage is to play himself in a film called The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent , it has been announced. Gormican sent the script to Cage with a note assuring the actor it was an homage, not a takedown.

The Buccaneers followed that touchdown drive with one of their own, this one took eight plays & featured seven straight completions from Winston with the last one a 30 yard touchdown pass to Godwin making the score 27-17. They have scored better than 20 points in all of their games since Week 1, proving to be one of the most impressive offenses in the league.

Odds Shark now has the Saints winning by a projected score of 27-20, with the Saints covering the spread and the point total being under 49.5 points.

A loss is coming for the Bucs, who will fall to 3-7 on the year.

The total has gone UNDER in 12 of New Orleans' last 18 games.

New Orleans is 4-2 ATS in their last 6 games against Tampa Bay. In the last five games, the Bucs are allowing 29.3 fantasy points to opposing QBs with no evidence to that changing anytime soon. It's another to lay an egg at home against a division rival who had been left for dead on the side of the road, entering the game with one win on the season.
