The next game Waiters, 27, will be eligible to play in following the suspension will be the Heat's road matchup against the Nets on December 1.
The Heat did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for comment. He also hasn't been suspended by the team for the incident. If the league does slap him with a multiple-game suspension for his actions, he can kiss his money goodbye. Multiple reports have indicated that Waiters holds practically no value in the NBA's trade market. According to ESPN, he could lose a $1.2 million bonus if he misses three more games this season. Waiters is in the third season of a four-year, $52 million contract he signed with the Heat in the summer of 2017.
