He says he's coming out of retirement next year.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. appeared to reverse his decision about his retirement and said Thursday he will be working with UFC president Dana White on an event next year. Mayweather won the fight easily, but there was rumors about fight fixing and it has been quiet around the 42-year-old boxer since then.

After McGregor's boxing loss, many people believed that there would be a rematch between the two in the UFC octagon, but it never occurred.

Mayweather took part in a three-round exhibition bout against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa a year ago, winning by first-round TKO.

Who would you like to see Mayweather in the ring with? Despite the swift finish, Mayweather reportedly still made around $9 million for the fight.

Mayweather retired in 2015 after beating Andre Berto, only to return to fight McGregor on August 26, 2017, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The Russian is one of the deadliest fighters in the UFC so it would be interesting to see him match up with Mayweather. "He called me out, so he got to come to my world".

Mayweather also told TMZ that he would be open to a rematch against McGregor saying "After me and Khabib lock up, me and McGregor we gonna lock up again".

"Eventually I will move on to build my brand in MMA but for right now I'm in boxing, and boxing will always be at the top as long as I'm involved", was all Mayweather said Saturday. Pacquiao, now a senator in the Philippines, posted on his Instagram account a video with Chinese billionaire Jack Ma asking him for a "real fight" or face the Alibaba founder in an exhibition match. The victory over McGregor pushed Mayweather's record to 50-0, eclipsing Rocky Marciano's 49-0 mark. "I make great money doing exhibitions - between $10 and $30 million", Mayweather said.
