Dolphins' Mark Walton Accused Of Assaulting Pregnant Woman

Running back Mark Walton has gone from suspended to unemployed.

Running back Mark Walton was recently waived by the Miami Dolphins after he was arrested for aggravated assault of a pregnant woman.

"We will have no further comment at this time", Grier said. Lauderdale - after cops say he pushed the woman against the wall Tuesday around 4:15 AM and punched her several times in the face and head. Police say the woman is five weeks pregnant with Walton's child, TMZ reported.

Walton received a four-game suspension in early November for a violation of the NFL's conduct and substance abuse policies related to those arrests.

The suspension was the result of Walton being arrested three times last offseason in Miami.

After this latest scrape with the law, the Dolphins finally cut bait with Walton. They released him after his arrests, and he signed in May with the Dolphins.

He closed by thanking the Dolphins for the opportunity and promised to "make the most of this chance as a person and player when I return". "I don't want to judge people based on one incident, two incidents". As a high schooler, Walton starred at Miami powerhouse Booker T. Washington.

Walton would have been eligible to return to the active roster December 2 following the Week 13 game against the Eagles.

In August, Walton agreed to close his three cases by accepting a term of six months of "administrative" probation, which meant he did not have to report to a probation officer.

The suspension came seven days after the Dolphins traded Kenyan Drake to the Cardinals, but it was no surprise to the organization. Other charges, including marijuana possession and reckless driving, were dismissed. Flores said at the time that Walton "has done everything we have asked of him both on and off the field". He also had 15 receptions for 89 yards.
