The Bray boxer thanked supporters after the fight and her many supporters on these shores have responded in kind.

Braekhus (38) will fight for the first time in nearly a year at the end of this month when she takes on Argentina's Victoria Noelia Bustos, who possessed the IBF lightweight belt for five years until Taylor took it from her last year.

Two of her probable future opponents, Amanda Serrano and Delfine Persoon, who she controversially beat to unify the lightweight division in June, have been trash talking her on social media.

Irish boxing star Katie Taylor (14-0, 6 KOs) won the gold medal at the 2012 Olympic games in London, and she also made history by becoming the undisputed women's lightweight champion holding the IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO titles.

"No matter where it's at, what weight, I'm gonna win", proclaimed Serrano after beating former champion Heather Hardy to take two featherweight belts in September.

"I'm just ready to go now tomorrow night".

She added: "I'm very happy with my performance, it was a very smart performance". This was her second defense of the WBO belt.

"We knew this girl would be very tough - she was the best in the division - but I boxed beautifully on the outside instead of getting stuck in on the inside for a change", Taylor said. What is she going to do?

The battery s rumoured to be of a measly 2,730 mAh capacity which indicates Motorola's inclination towards a slimmer device. The design indeed resembles that of the classic Moto Razr lineup fro where the foldable phone design concept emanated.

Linardatou brought pressure throughout but Ireland's Taylor read attacks more easily as the fight progressed.

Given that a bout with the Irishwoman is guaranteed to generate a record pay-day for her opponent, Taylor can expect to be called out plenty over the coming months.

"People see, they are not stupid".

However, the champion began to get careless and Taylor caught her with a couple of decent combinations in what was probably her best round up to then. "I'm a two-weight world champion, but there are some great fights that can be made for me".

Although Taylor was landing the cleaner shots, Linardatou's aggression was non-stop.

"I'm going to enjoy this victory and leave the matchmaking to my team", Taylor added.

She is now moving up to the 140 lbs to challenge for the WBO junior welterweight championship of the world.
