Duane Chapman under doctor’s care after heart-related incident

The health scare comes just three months after his wife, Beth Chapman, died of cancer.

Duane "Dog The Bounty Hunter" Chapman was hospitalized over the weekend of September 14 after suffering a "heart emergency" that could require surgery, TMZ reports. TMZ was first to report the news.

An official response from a member of Dog's Management Team confirms that Dog is under doctor's care and is resting comfortably. "Thank you for all of your well wishes - keep 'em coming". His late wife, Beth Chapman, starred alongside him on both his current and former series until her death in June. Most recently, the bounty hunter was left "devastated" after thieves broke into his merchandise store in Colorado, which he owned with Beth and featured a makeshift memorial to her after her death.

Last month, his store was burglarized and some of his wife's personal items were stolen, along with thousands of dollars in clothing.

While Chapman took to social media to offer up a "large cash reward" for anyone with any information about crime. To who ever did this, you better watch out. A memorial service was held for her in July in Aurora. The man told the outlet that sleeping was a problem as well, saying that 'I wake up to always touch her, especially when she was sick, I'd have to wake up a few times when she stopped breathing. "I used to sneak up on her ... and I did and she goes, 'Big Daddy, what took you so long?' and started crying". "I can't eat. Two bites, I'm full". I got to force feed myself like I force fed her.
