Samsung makes their powerful Exynos 9825 7nm processor official


The Samsung Exynos 9825 is based on 7nm manufacturing process and is said to be the first mobile chip to use EUV (extreme ultraviolet lithography) technology. It is believed that the upcoming flagship Galaxy Note line-up will be featuring the new flagship Exynos 9825 SoC.

The processor will be available in global versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus, with USA versions using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus. The Exynos 9825 packs two Samsung M4 CPU cores, two Cortex-A75 CPU cores, and four Cortex-A55 CPU cores. It also comes with Mali-G76 MP12 GPU that the company says will deliver powerful graphics performance for immersive gaming. 20 LTE download speeds, (up to 2Gbps, and up to 316Mbps upload speeds.) It can integrate with Samsung's Exynos Modem 5100 modem for 5G connectivity. Officially, the chipset can support a 16MP + 16MP dual configuration or a single 22MP primary sensor for the main camera. On a side note, the chipset still supports LPDDR4X memory and USF3.0 and UFS2.1 storage. It supports 8K 30fps or 4K UHD 150fps encoding and decoding.

Samsung unveiled a new version of the Galaxy Note smartphone on Wednesday with fast 5G network connection and improved camera features, hoping the premium model helps it revive slumping profit and widen the gap with struggling rival Huawei.

The Exynos 9825 support dual camera (16MP + 16MP), a front camera of 22MP and a rear camera of 22MP.

It can also drive 4K UHD resolutions displays measuring 4096 x 2160 pixels, along with WQUXGA resolutions, which measure 3840 x 2400 pixels.
