Nair is a popular hair-removal cream that effectively melts hair away from the skin's surface when applied - it is usually used on legs and armpits. It is unclear whether Nair or another product was allegedly mixed into the conditioner.
When she began to wash the conditioner out, she found that her hair was falling out "in massive clumps".
Timm noted that the Pantene conditioner product is typically white in color, but the one Rose used was "ugly pink in color".
Timm said that police are looking into the matter and that they will review security footage.
After lathering up her tresses, Krone let the conditioner sit in her hair for about 10 minutes, according to the GoFundMe.
'Ashley's hair is still shedding and her scalp is still irritated, ' the GoFundMe post explained.
Ashley ultimately decided that her only option was to shave it all off.
As she ran her hands out of her hair, "it was covered in hair and just kept on falling out".
