Taking to Facebook, Ashley revealed that she has been suffering anxiety attacks since she started losing her hair and doesn't want to go out in public.

Nair is a popular hair-removal cream that effectively melts hair away from the skin's surface when applied - it is usually used on legs and armpits. It is unclear whether Nair or another product was allegedly mixed into the conditioner.

'Ashley's hair is still shedding and her scalp is still irritated, ' the GoFundMe post explained.

Ashley ultimately decided that her only option was to shave it all off.

As she ran her hands out of her hair, "it was covered in hair and just kept on falling out".

Robinson hopes sharing her story will serve as a warning to others. My heart hurts terribly I don't even have any words to say to anyone as I just can't get anything out but that it hurts and has been scary. When she tried to get hair extensions to hide her hair loss, she was told it wouldn't be possible because her hair was still falling out and her scalp was irritated.
