They described the experience as comfortable, crisp, clear, and aesthetically pleasing, a nod to how Dark Mode can reduce eye strain. Making a Dark Mode for an app or UI isn't just a matter of darkening bright elements, UI design also involves depth (shadows) and gradients.

"People often think of Dark Mode as a choice between a black or white screen, but this feature involves a wide spectrum of both grayscale and color gradients", said Friedman. In the meantime, Outlook for Android automatically switches to Dark Mode when you choose the Battery Saver option. Depending on the preferences, Outlook will be automatically starting using the Dark Mode. Unfortunately, the company hasn't officially confirmed the latter and has yet to announce an official availability date. If you need more time to make your apps look fantastic in Dark Mode, or if Dark Mode is not suited for your app, you can learn how to opt out.

Dark Mode also consumes less energy and it saves a lot of battery life. They will then extend the dark mode to the rest of the mobile apps and services they have.

Risk is On After Positive Trade Comments from China
Benchmark Brent crude edged up 0.1 percent to $59.98 a barrel while USA crude oil futures were up 0.75 percent at $56.19 a barrel. Trump added that federal aid to farmers was being funded by tariff collections on Chinese goods.

Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on mobile are set to pick up their dark mode treatments alongside the launch of iOS 13 later this year. Friedman promises that with the release of iOS 13, this rollout will be extended to the entire Office 365 suite, including Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, Planner, and even its new To-Do app.

The Dark Mode retains a number of colorful elements that are created to draw the user's eyes toward information that matters, but without compromising the dark nature of this theme. The update is not yet made available on the App Store.
