Apple has dropped a new trailer for The Morning Show ahead of its big debut. But now Apple has released the first The Morning Show teaser trailer, which gives us our first look at the dramedy starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell, and Reese Witherspoon.
Apple's tagline for the show is, "the news is only half the story". Meanwhile, sound bites of Aniston, Carell and Witherspoon's characters play over the promo - and none of 'em sound particularly happy with their current jobs. "We are doing this my way". "I'm a journalist. I can feel when the world needs me". "I'm bringing you some sad and upsetting news". "That's all I ever wanted to do", says Witherspoon, 43. As the camera pushes into the control room, Witherspoon says, "I think they want to know the person behind the facade". "They want to trust that the person who is telling them the truth about the world is an honest person". Aniston was on Friends for 10 seasons before it ended its run in 2004. Nearly a full year later, in October 2018, Carell joined the project, which marks his first regular TV gig since The Office.
Aniston and Witherspoon are also serving as executive producers on the project. "[We're having] so much fun brainstorming and laughing and sending each other emails".
Come Sail Away With Seafaring Prince George in a Captain Hat
In 2017, William, Kate and Prince Harry participated in a training session for runners taking part in the London Marathon. The event was held off the Isle of Wight and was brought forward a day due to the weather forecast.
The Morning Show will debut exclusively this fall (date TBA) on Apple TV+, a video subscription service that will feature original shows, movies and documentaries.
